Tan-Te-Tannnnn

At last I have the time to create a new post.

That's because, I have just joined the ranks of the "unemployed" and have lots of time.

But, I'm not complaining. In fact I'm as happy as can be.

Just wanted you all to know that the Khanki population in India is going to go down once again.

The Aussie Khankies are going to have some company.

Yeah! We finally got our visas, and should be in OZ sometime in Jan, after a last Christmas in Calcutta.

I've resigned and currently Charmaine and I are relaxing, making shoppping lists and talking to potential buyers for our house. As PF says, I am trying to "liquidate my assets."

There are lots of things still to be done, but I finally have the time to chat at length with all of you on the blog.

I'm also trying a crash course in slimming down, walking up and down a hill 2 or 3 times, but the results are not at all encouraging.

Should be in Cal by mid December. I hope to meet up with all of you who are in town or, who are visiting.

Texy, will definitely be in cal when you come.

hi dome,

that's great news, maybe the khanki reunion should be in Oz instead

if you have not already done so, i suggest you and charmaine take some driving lessons back in india

make sure you learn to parallel park and the 3-point turn

when you get to Oz u can then take a few more lessons to familiarise yourself with the Oz road rules - it will be much cheaper there and save you a shit load of money

cheers

Hey Dome, Charmaine and the boys!
Congrats!Good show....but how will you manage without your domes and hijras? Must inform the hijras that "Govinda" is escaping.

Looks like most of the rats are abandoning the ship.....

Hey Dome, dont worry about the driving. If you can drive in India , you can drive anywhere. The only thing is that you've got a few more rules to stick by and I'm sure you'll breeze through your driving test.

The most important adjustment is the weather....and the time - suddenly you will find you have heaps of it so plan well.

Hey Texy,

Goa is fantastic in January. Try to get there before 31st Dec so you can enjoy the New Year Eve parties. Although you may have difficulty geting airfares as this is peak season. The alternative is to take the overnght train which leaves Dadar station at 11:30 pm and reaches Goa at 11am next morning. Or if you can stomach a bus journey then there are myriad busses heading to Goa from Bandra, Dadar or VT.

Thanks DB and others.

I'm not so worried about my driving test, since I have to drive in Mumbai. But I am worried about Charmaine's License. It has been about 12 months since she got her learner's. She still doesn't know where to put the car key. Of course she has plenty of excuses, but I am worried. Hope I can help her get through her test by the end of the month.

Charmaine, You must learn to drive immediately for the following reasons:
1. One guy drinks and the other drives.
2. If you drive then Walter can check out the chicks, Greeek sailors and so on.
3. Driving lessons in Oz are expensive and if Dome has to spend unnecessarily he'll be bitching and moaning for decades to come.

Hi
Firstly, I certainly know where to insert the car keys and i really was not aware that walter had mentioned this until i saw his message.
Secondly, him looking at oz or greek or any other kind of chicks wont stop me from learning driving. Well, as for his spending on my driving lessons, he's cribbing even here about all expenses, not just driving.

Texy,
Vivian Chater and family stayed at Gulshan when they came from Oz last year. They were quite happy with it so I would say go for it.
However, I'm quite intrigued by the fact that Osho{BHOBHOBHOROOAAAH~~~} knows which ones are shady!!!

Broadway is pretty good. Gyan owns it so getting a room won't be a problem. However, while it was close to Bambi's old haunts, Texy will probably prefer Cal 16.
Osho{Bhobhobhoroooaaaah~~~} Christmas in Cal is still only a remote possibility for me. I'm opening a store in Pune. I been nominated to do a course in IIM Bangalore which will make me a licenced assessor for Tata Business Excellence Models....the long and the short of it is that I'm on the road to the Tata fast track but I'll only let you guys know the details when it happens.
Still no snaps of Chris!!!

Gosh,I see some activity on this blog at last.I have been really busy selling off my stuff. Finally sold my old suzuki to the scrap dealer. I felt a bit sad about seeing it go.

My house is sold, and so is the car.

Now we wait till saturday, to fly to Calcutta. All of us are truly excited to be going back to Cal, after so long.Let's hope Mamata Bannerjee is in a good mood and doesn't announce a bandh for saturday.

There once was a guy called Dome
Whose penchant for greeks was known
He'd siddle up to Pluto
Show his bum to Juno
And suck a bit on Achilles bone

He's off to Aussie this summer
With his wife and boys in tow
The shielas are hotter
Says Osho the plotter
Rubbing his hands deep down below

While Texy's off to Goa for some fun
And Banglu's in Cal for the hols
DB's stuck out west
With no chance of a rest
Not e'en time to shake the dust off his balls

HOPE YA FUCKERS HAD A GUT FILLED CHRISTMAS , FARTED THROUGH BOXING DAY AND WISH YOU ALL A PEACEFUL NEW YEAR -

PS : wonder if Minstrels played the GAB dance this Christmas!!
